Some mosquitoes breed in containers of water. Dump and wash pools, buckets, tires, and bird baths every week before refilling them with clean water. Additionally, you can use mosquito larvicide dunks in water (shown in second picture) to prevent mosquitoes from breeding. Don’t worry, they don’t harm the birds, fish, pets, or people.
