The Office of Human Resources (OHR) provides support to VDH employees statewide including 32 local health districts and 18 central offices. OHR’s responsibilities encompass a wide range of functions throughout the employee life-cycle from hire to retire. OHR ensures that the agency maintains an effective and valued workforce that helps accomplish Agency’s mission to protect the health and promote the well-being of all people in Virginia.
