Qualifying school health staff are crucial for developing, implementing, and sustaining comprehensive health programs within schools. The reported data provides regional awareness and valuable insights into students' needs, the capabilities of the school division's workforce, and the availability of school health staff for individualized care. Schools track the number of students who require specialized procedures during school hours. This information can be leveraged to identify medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services gaps for students, families, and the wider school community.
The data is self-reported by the school division. Please contact the school division with questions.
For any given indicator, the range of values has been divided into five equal groups or quintiles. A higher quintile indicates a higher value.
