Our vision is a community where all adolescents thrive, supported by a comprehensive and inclusive approach to health that fosters their physical, mental, and social well-being. We envision a community that values and invests in the health of our youth, ensuring equitable access to healthcare services, nurturing supportive environments, and empowering adolescents to reach their full potential.
We work with Richmond youth ages 12-19 through partnerships with local non-profits, middle and high schools, foster care programs and more organizations.

Cindy Pulido, MPH (she/her)- Adolescent Health Coordinator
Teen-focused lightning round!
- Favorite high school fashion trend: (at the time) Ripped jeans and hoodies (still love a good hoodie)
- Most likely to be on the car radio: Drake, J. Cole, and reggaeton
- Favorite school subject: I loved the challenge of math.
- Best afterschool job: Working at the movie theater. There wasn’t much to do in my town, so people hung out there. I always knew the tea!
- What’s a resource you know about now, you wish you knew about as a teen? I wish I knew my health insurance could help me get access to a therapist that I could see virtually, also help with filing for FAFSA.

- What’s a resource you know about now, you wish you knew about as a teen? Well resources I wish were around when I was a teen would have been Free Mental Health Counseling

- Favorite high school fashion trend: It was the skinny jeans/cargo shorts with nike elite socks with a pair of Retro jordans, KDs, foamposites and Lebrons. Then a designer shirt like polo ralph lauren, Armani exchange etc. (LOL It had to be name brand)
- Most likely to be on the car radio: Chief Keef, Shy Glizzy, G Herbo, Migos. Literally the pioneers of trap music today lol
- Favorite school subject: History was literally my best subject.
- Best After School Job: Working as a Golf Cart handler at the local country club. Got free food and sometimes tips. Also drove the golf carts which was fun. Needed the money for prom.
- What’s a resource you know about now, you wish you knew about as a teen? I wish I knew I could have asked more about college prep resources from my school counselor.
